TimescaleDB - PostgreSQL ++ for time series and events
TimescaleDB is a time series DBMS which can help you to store your time-based data more efficiently (and maybe even cheaper). In this talk I want to share with you the journey I had with learning this new DBMS, what it can do and where it may help you, but also to see what the pitfalls I fell into during learning are. By the end of the talk you should have a small insight into TimescaleDB which should be enough to spark your interest to investigate further into it.
