Virtualise your (CF) servers: Proxmox 101

Proxmox is awesome. In this talk, I want to show you why it’s my favorite tool for my home network: Spin up containers and VMs for virtually anything. Have 10 Coldfusion servers on one physical machine. Provide a central IDE in your network. Build a cluster of nodes for extra stability. Enjoy!

What is Proxmox? First of all, it’s awesome! Let me show you, why! Proxmox provides you the power of virtualisation in a convenient and easy way. Spin up containers and virtual machines on any physical machine running Proxmox. Have a server VM and duplicate it on another machine. Have a server VM in a Proxmox cluster and have it automatically migrate to another PC on hardware failure. Have your VMs and containers automatically backed up regularly. The possiblities are endless.
